Do drivers in Dodge have any idea what a crosswalk is used for?

They are for people to cross the street, supposedly if you use them you should be able to cross the street safely. WRONG!! not if Dodge City. Everytime you attempt to cross the street you are taking your life in your own in your hands.

I can't count how many times I have nearly been hit as I was crossing the street. At first I was like hell, was that someone I've recently pissed off. I mean I do tend to piss people off on a daily basis, but these are people I've never spoke to.

Drivers are in such a hurry to get nowhere that they do not pay attention or could care less about pedestrians. Do you get points for something if you hit or scare as many as you can.

The other day I was crossing the street in front of this guy who was stopped at the stop sign and just as I got in front of his car he laid on the horn, nearly scared me to death, and he just laughed like it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen. I of course flipped him off and said a few choice words and the a$$hole hollers at me to get a sense of humor.

While most drivers are jerks, some are not. I would like to thank the few drivers that actually slow down, or stop so that you can cross the street.

And if you are one of the a$$holes I described above, please let me know and I will explain to you exactly where you can stick your car and the horn.
