Angry McDonalds.

Had a rough night & hadnt had time to cook decide to run to McDonalds to pick up something quick. Place order, pay & pull up to second window. There is a man standing there doing nothing doesn't say anything to me or even look our way just stands there. We wait for several minutes & another man comes up & gives us part of our order & walks away. We continue to wait. You can hear people inside asking what the window is waiting on but no one comes over to us. Finally a womans comes to the window & asks what we still need. I tell her we are missing our sundaes. She hands me one & says they went to get more caramel please pull forward. The whole time this has gone on the same man has been standing there in the window area never doing or saying anything!! So we pull forward where we continue to wait. We eat most of our food & cant believe no one has brought our other sundae out. By this time the sundae we did have is melted! I go inside & ask about our sundae. They say Oh we forgot we're so busy! She asks do you want your money back or your sundae. I said the sandae. At this point she starts hollaring around asking if anyone ever got the caramel. She goes to another lady & asks her. She replies Yeah I got it its over there but it exploded he he he. By this time I'm beyond biting my tongue. I tell her I've been waiting for 25 minutes now for my meal & I sure don't see how any of this is funny. I ask to see the manager. First lady I spoke with turns out to be the manager. She apologizes again saying we're just so busy & continues on with the sundaes. They hand them to me & ask Do you want nuts with those. I say sure. They start looking under the counter & decide they have none. Could I please wait while they run to the basement to get them!!!! I say forget it & leave. What has happened to customer service??? Hell what has happened to common decency???? I am still just absolutley appalled with the whole ordeal. I plan to contact the owner in the morning since all the manager wanted to do was make excuses.

Question is....What has happened to competency?

Their brains are overloaded with learning two languages. They have no room for competency, courtesy or general common sense.

Put the Dodge City McDonald's on the same list as the Dodge City Wal-Mart, both are poor excuses of a business. I try to avoid both of them---to help keep my blood pressure down. I will admit I find poor customer service in other communities also, but these two are at the top of the list for poor service.

I have left messages with the owner of McDonald's before, but he never returns my calls. We just avoid the place anymore. For some reason, "poor service" seems to be the norm in Dodge! As the Duke says, seems to be worse here than in other communities. Most probably leads back to poor management.
