| Wendy's Late this morning I pulled into Wendy's drive thru and ordered a #2 with a coke. I got to the window to pay with cc and the employee working said the machine was broke down and asked if I had any other way to pay? I said, "no" then the manager or owner (not sure) told me the same story. I left without any food. Returned 1 1/2 hours later with some cash and re-ordered. This time the owner told me right after I left the first time his machine started working. He apologized again and said, "no charge, it's on me". That, my friends, is customer service! I will go back again and again after being treated so well! Wendy's beats McDonalds hands down.

| Huh. That IS customer service. #1 that they even remembered you and #2 that it was on them. Shoulda been the first time, but they did get it right. Nice to hear a good story!

| Wow awesome, Wendy's ftw  . So far every time I've ever gone there to eat they always get my order right, unlike BK or McDonald's every now and then :[ |

| Their drive through moves a lot faster too. I heard that Wendy's has bought the lot just North of Gibson's, and may be putting in a new store with a double drive through. If true, that should help their "cramped quarters" problem. |

| One of the things that has made that Wendy's successful.... Ron has hired some very competent people, some of which have been there for 5-10 years and get paid a decent wage. Bilingual is NOT a priority at that place, competence is. Ron takes a lot of pride in his job and his employees and it shows in the service.

| Yes he has been there since the 80's. I worked there in 84, my first real job. I loved working there.
