I also have to work, 3:30-11:30pm, but I get paid overtime for working on the holiday and 8 hours for holiday pay. So, in effect I am getting double time and a half!

No work for me today either.

Well I don't have to go to my place of employment anyways. I still have to clean the house, pay bills, run after the kid, go to the grocery, run some errands for my husband, enroll in classes & cook supper.

But I won't complain.....my husband let me sleep a little late & made me breakfast this morning. What a sweetheart.

no work for me either!!! But I have to clean up the Christmas decorations and stuff. Blondie, just don't listen to the rest. The cleaning lady was here last week, so I'll have to do a little more cleaning up than usual.
