| Good for the Patriot Riders! I haven't heard of such a group up here yet - hope they just happen to show up at the next military funeral..........

| My son told me when the idiots start a chant the bikers chant USA USA and rap up their bikes and when they hold up their BS signs the bikers hold up US flags.

| riders If they are going because they were invited, then that I asume all the noise from the cycles is all right with the family too. It seems to me that much noise would be very distracting to everyone and not just for the prostesters. Are they far enough away from the services that they won't be heard by the families and morners? Just asking. Just wanted to know what right either one of these groups have to intervine in someones sorrow. Again, invited or not invited it is the wrong place for protesting. I thought services were for family members & friends to be able to grieve in peace. My thoughts and fears and pride are with the famly not with the protesters or cycle riders. |

| I talked to somebody that rode his Harley over there and was told that there were about 300 Harley riders ( I think that's what he told me) from this area, Wichita, Tulsa, etc. The city even broke out and parked firetrucks and ambulances between Phelp's dirtbag group and the church. After the service the mother of the fallen soldier shook hands and thanked all the Harley riders for helping them.

| My son rode over and he said that Phelps and his a-hole only stayed about 45 minutes, and they were kept hidden by all the bikers and other people who came to stop the a-holes.

| There was an article in the paper today about a bill being introduced in Topeka that would define the separation between protestors and funerals and give law enforcement more tools to use. Phelps' attorney was quick to state they'll sue for violation of their rights. There are several in this country that need to learn a lesson on rights - Phelps & company is a great place for us to all start.

| Yep - Phelps is a great example of the old saying, "your rights stop when mine begin". Or something like that. We all have a right to bury our dead in peace. Phelps needs to learn that, apparently - and it shouldn't have to be legislated. Too bad it's come to that.
