Democrats blaming Bush for gas prices

THIS IS DRIVING ME FREAKING NUTS.

http://washingtontimes.com/national/...3202-9285r.htm

The Democrats have done EVERYTHING they can to prevent the U.S. from having cheaper fuel and NOW they are pinning it on BUSH? You gotta be kidding.

Drilling in ANWAR was passed in 1995 but Slick Willy Clinton vetoed it because we wouldn't get the oil for 8 years...guess what...we'd have had that oil for the past three years.

196 House Democrats voted against a 2005 energy bill that would have streamlined the process of refinery expansion.

124 House Dems voted against the 05 energy bill encouraging the expansion of clean nuclear power.

As Bubba said, the oil companies make 8 cents a gallon while the gov't get's about 40 cents a gallon profit..and they are not doing anything. Thank the Dems for this...another tax.

The environmentalist (democrats) make it difficult for oil companies to research, drill and refine oil which hurts our country.

Think about this. DO YOU THINK the Dems are going to try to help with anything while Bush is in office? It helps them for the gas to stay high, Iraq to be unstable and for the immigration issue to not be acted on. Bottom line is the Dems are not going to do anything positive or let anything positive happen for the country until they are in power. They are putting their politics in front of the needs of the country....again...the Liberal Taliban strikes....destroying America from the inside out.

Everyone who keeps buying these big gas pigs.
Everyone who wastes gas by driving for the hell of it.
In other words Every single one of us.

Personally I am adjusting my budget and lifestyle to live with the rising prices. I drive less. I ride my motorcycle to work on the days I have to leave the office and do things around town for work. On days I'm just going to work and staying there I ride my bicycle and take my lunch.

All of these things are a small price to pay to do my part and as I recall when people are paying high gas prices they tend to get pretty pissed off and blame whoever's in power.

So I'm saving gas, money and getting in better shap while helping to do my part to get more fundies voted out.

Well, Wordy, my job requires miles and miles of driving every day! It makes my costs go up, yet the end customer doesn't understand that the rising fuel prices have to force my end price to increase also. In fact, I will be in your area tomorrow. I will "honk" as I go by!!

They blame Bush for everything, even stuff that’s Klinton’s fault. Nothing new here.

Oil, Gas Prices Drop on Bush Supply Move

Quote:
Crude oil and gasoline futures fell Tuesday after President Bush gave the Environmental Protection Agency the authority to relax regional clean-fuel standards to attract more imports of gasoline to the United States and to make it easier for supplies to be moved from one state to another....

Must be something to those EPA standards the Dems gave us.

How many miles do you average in a week? If I don't take a personal trip to go out of town and party to someplace like Wichita I only put about 40 or 50 miles on my Mustang a week. Lets say gas goes up 20 cents a gallon and I get 20 MPG in town. Just on normal driving I'm only using about 3 or 4 gallons a week which means it's costing me a whopping extra 2 bucks a week for gas....

My point is if you don't drive a lot Wordster and you choose to walk or hitchhike or whatever your little liberal body decides to do....how much are you really saving? I'm not walking to work (even though I only live 5 blocks from my office) to save 2 or 3 dollars....

I'm not concerned with your 2 or 3 bucks but every gallon you don't burn is one less they have to dig out of the ground.

I live 4 miles from work and up until recently I was coming home for lunch. My wife has a 30 min. commute each way so she goes through more than I do. Every little bit helps.

On the other hand every little bit you use driving that mustang your 5 blocks is a little bit that hurts.
