Tony Snow takes a pay cut

FOX News anchor Tony Snow has taken the job of White House Press Secretary. This could be interesting because Snow isn’t always kind to the President. Check out the paragraph from his column that showed up last night at TownHall.com. My question is “Will he call on Helen Thomas?”

One of the things that always made me feel good in the morning was waking up and realizing I did not belong to the same political party as Chuck Schumer. It made me feel clean -- even before I took a shower. But now, with my Republican president pulling a "full Schumer," even a series of showers will not help.

No matter what his past credentials, stories or actions were, Tony Snow WILL LIE to the public, via the media, when the administration that hired him dictates.
And that's no different then it has been for years.
That's the Press Secretary's job, no matter how odious.

No big deal. I posted the story this morning because I found humor in it. Snow has openly criticized Bush in the past so it was believable. When I heard about the error I dashed right back to post a correction because I thought it was the right thing to do.

It is a little harsh to claim someone is going to be a liar before he even starts the job.

I said it was harsh to judge a man before he even starts the job.

So you contend that Tony will at some point lie for Bush. Would you say the same thing if it was a Democrat president?
