Now this just pisses me off to no end.

I was reading the typical rose colored wright up in the Globe about the illegals plans for Sunday and Monday and came across this.

The activity will start with a tree dedication in Wright Park to symbolize that Latino immigrants also have their roots in southwest Kansas.

WTF? Who authorized this abomination? This freaking slap in the face to Dodge City's founders and heritage. This is just plain wrong.

First off this is not a Latino issue but an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT issue. Criminals breaking the law and wanting amnesty. Lets get it right. Nobodies buying the Latino thing. These are Mexicans(people of Mexico).

Second, Where the hell were these Mexicans when Wright Parks trees were planted in the first place? Now they want to insert themselves into the cities history? I don't think so!!! I find this so disgraceful that our city is letting these people try and change our heritage.

If they want to plant a tree to show support for the future of Dodge City then fine but to allow this tree under these reasons is just wrong.

The problem has been that they continue to reject assimilation and want to bring Mexico to America under their own rules. Now they want to implant their roots along side ours? Perhaps America needs to revisit our history and take a better look at the Mexican role in our past.

I am so ashamed for this city for slapping our founding fathers in the face.

Well you might be able to convince our spineless leaders to let you disgrace our heritage but when I see that tree along side the huge sturdy trees over a century old I'll see it what what it really symbolizes. Just how LITTLE your roots have in our past.

Glad to see someone else feels the same about the Globe, getting sick and tired of their front page KissA.. pictures and stories all around the Latino or Illegals, I remember when I worked for the city sometime ago, when this crap first started getting going, we had to attend a special class to try and brain wash us. and how we either adapt or hit the road. I remember one of the speakers saying how He gave back some land that he thought belonged to the Mexicans, that was wrongfully taken by the Americans.. Don't forget to go shopping on Monday and wear Blue or Red.

Just one more case of the media and those in charge foresaking every thing and everyone that made this country what it is, or was in this case, in the name of political correctness. I am sick and tired of being taken for granted by the government and the businesses of this town just because they think they have me in their back pocket and I'll always be here to support them. They can just kiss my lilly white ass. If they don't guard that tree 24/7 I doubt they will even have a twig to remember. I am constantly told that we have to understand their culture. If that means parking in the front yard, having 10 kids drawing welfare, playing carnival music that can be heard 20 blocks away, not speaking English, and causing our school system to be degraded then I want no part of their culure.

I say sit tight................ May 1st I think will be a real changing point. Personally I'm renewin my CW license.......... I feel if they can "take my country" they will shortly feel they can take whatever they want. If I'm keep tabs on who supports them - they are surely keepin tabs on who opposes them. I'm getting locked and loaded and goin to the gun range to practice up. I'm just mad as hell and I know I won't be the only one feelin like it's time to protect myself. My son thinks I'm nuts I'm sure........ but then again I'm the only person he is fearful of............ LOL LOL I never knew a 30 yo cop could / would actually still be scared of his mommie............. couse could be why he is a cop too..............

Either way........ I say better be ready than taken over............... and I would yank that SOB tree outta the ground if I were there.............. let em go plant trees in Mexico............. Just a little more desicration is all most of us need to get really pissy..........

I am sure the gun ranges and empty or not empty pasture land will be in use alot from here on. my wife hid my sawed off shotgun behind a wall, guess I will be tearing a wall out. there goes my weekend.
