What the US doesn't realize, I guess, is that the US dollar goes a long ways in Mexico. To give you an example: When I was in college, many moons ago, I worked construction to put myself thru school. There were several illegal mexicans worked there also. They lived here cheaply, all roomed in one apartment. They got our perks, paid no taxes, got free healthcare, and they sent their paychecks back to Mexico every payday via moneyorders. All of them worked a couple of years, then moved back to Mexico and retired!! One of them told me that he hired a housekeeper in Mexico for $15 US dollars a month. He had a gardener that cost him $10 a month. He lived back in Mexico like a rich man. After one of them would "retire" and go back home, he was replaced by another one, and on and on. So in fact, they suck out of the US economy, and build the Mexican economy on our "handouts"!! Don't get me wrong, some of them were very good workers. But, as you can see, this has grown exponentially over the years until we have the major catastrophe that we have now! I have no problem with someone wanting to better his situation, but they cannot do it at the expense of taxpaying American Citizens who are paying their fair share, then having it disappear and not being available for the one that earned it!!

Monies are not being paid IN by these wonderful "IMMIGRANTS......that we need soooooooooooo bad to fuel our economy "..... Their money is being sent back to their home countries...its as simple as that
