Former DCPD Cop: James Ryan Bloom

This guy can't keep his-self out of the news.... and "allegedly" can't seem to keep it in his pants when in the company of a 12 year old girl.... Jan. 1, 2005, to March 21, 2006 is a long time for this discretion to go on without detection.

I never knew this guy and don't know if I've even been in the same room with him; but everything I've ever read about him smelled bad.

That's just sad.......... I would hate to have to work in the jail he's gonna be at. Those fellas are just "too much work".......... they are worse cons than the inmates........... will be interesting to see how his jail time goes......... could be real easy or real ugly........ depends on who's madder at him....... guards or inmates............

I would hate to say this but I am gonna....I know a couple cops now that like little girls themselves, and they have been reported. Funny thing is they are still cops.

Go to myspace and check out some cops' page.......... it would surprise ya!! Hate to say that but my DIL did just that and found lots of interesting stuff on some of the cops she used to work with. I think this "virgin young girl" thing is just too wierd................ been watchin the Dateline preditor stuff....... What the hell are these guys thinkin??????............ I tell ya..... IF I had a man that got caught or I felt could / would do any of that crap....... hell I'd kill him myself.......... just sick sick sick folks out there......... what is it with the fantasy sex crap with men???????? They haven't profiled women..... I wonder if women do the same thing?...... yeah..... I know bout the teacher thing...... but I wonder - do women activily seek out young boys on the internet and actually show up with beer, dope, condoms, and at times their own children in tow????????

You'll find most of them in job positions like police officers, schools, youthcare, and even churches. Places where they can get close to children without any questions being asked. They are very trusted. It is sick. The 2 people I am referring to are very well liked and trusted. The ones that know what is really up was very surprised when they found out the truth. One of these people was even a youth minister at one time. Just really makes me sick to my stomach when I think about it.

I dont condone anyone's actions if they hurt someone else, especially a child. But, please remember, in the USA people are innocent until proven guilty. I have no idea if Bloom is guilty or not...only he and the alleged victim know for sure. He is still a normal citizen and should not be crucified by people until the court has made its ruling.

The same thing goes for the two people pootsy is referring to. Because no facts have been presented to us and no charges have ever been filed (at least to my knowledge), I think it is unfair to bring up allegations as a third party. Some might think I am just trying to protect my own by saying this, but I would say it whether I knew the people or not. Saying someone is a child molester or whatever it is pootsy is referring to is out of line when nothing has been proven and no facts have been mentioned to support this stance.

Of course folks are innocent until proven guilty.......... BUT ya know NLIR....... they think long and hard and do massive amounts of investigation BEFORE they ruin a cops career............ you know and I know when it comes to this kinda of stuff the investigation is pretty extensive. They usually have an ongoing internal investigation after the alligations are made. All this is done BEFORE the actuall take down.

We just had a cop mixed up with a prostitute............... the internal was so quite the rest of the officers didn't even know it happened till they saw it on the news. That's how good my son's force is at investigaitng. Hell they are better than the FBI....... LOL Course we all know cops are constatntly being investigated internally. They are held to more scrutney than most of us. That's how it is down here in my neck of the woods. Most items are cleared up with no charges. That doesn't mean that the cops get off........ it means they are targets for internal and public scrutiney............ tough way to go to work everyday!!

That is exactly why I didn't say any names. I hate to tell you Radio guy but it has been proven, but no charges were filed. There is more to this story but that is all I am going to say. You wouldn't believe it anyways Radio. Just remember this, not all people are what they seem.

That is exactly my point...I dont think it is fair to talk about someone locally, even if you didnt mention their name directly, without providing the facts to back it up. I am pretty sure I know one of the people you are talking about and other people who know officers probably have identified this person also. I just dont think it is fair for you to bring up anything about any body without backing it up.

I would equate it to something along this line, and this is totally made up to prove a point: I know a teacher at the middle school that used to teach in Garden City but got fired for drinking alcohol on the job and selling pot to kids in the school. I am not going to tell you which teacher it was or provide any facts about it, charges were never filed, but you would never believe who it is because he is a popular teacher.

Something like this sounds more like a personal attack on someone rather than a factual event.

Look, like I stated before Mr. Radio guy I can back it up. Yes it is personal, I don't get off on older men screwing with young girls minds or having sex with them, or anything else that will **** them up for life. Especially when your in the position that they really trust you and think your there for their well being. You got to be a pretty sick person to act like a youngsters mentor, protector, hero, youth pastor, whatever it may be, and turn around and mess with their hearts, minds, and life the way these two people have done.
I have a past that I am not particularly proud of, it had it moments, however I didn't pretend to be something I wasn't. I also wasn't a perp.
