| Breaking news: US immigration bill clears hurdle Courtesy of www.bbc.co.uk/news The United States Senate has voted to limit debate on a sweeping overhaul of immigration law, clearing the way for the bill to be passed on Thursday. Senators voted 73-25 to advance the measure which covers border security and plans to give illegal immigrations the chance to gain US citizenship. The move heralds tough negotiations with the House of Representatives which passed a stricter version of the bill. About 11.5m illegal immigrants live in the United States.

| This is one of the few issues were I don’t agree with Bush. But have you seen any prominent Democrats opposing amnesty?

| I just don't get it. America response to a guest worker(amnesty) program has been overwhelming opposed. I thought these goons were called REPRESENTATIVE'S?
