Typical political double talk

Did you catch Bush's speech yesterday on immigration? I thought his ideas were right on the mark until he got to the guest worker(amnesty) BS. After that I just lost interest.

What really pissed me off was the typical double talk. First he talks tough about "we are a country of laws and we will not tolerate law breakers." then he talks about allowing these law breakers to remain to do the jobs "Americans won't do."

This guy just has no clue.

I caught some of it and yeah, Bush is way off the mark on this one along with the Senate. Maybe he’s trying to build a compromise with the Democrats or pander to Hispanics. It’s not working with the people as evident with the popularity of Tancredo’s tough stance on the issue.

We don’t need some fancy new “comprehensive” law to deal with the problem. We already have on the books all the laws that are needed. What is needed is to step up enforcement of the existing laws. Give Fox the finger and start building fence. The Senate proposal is a sell out and hopefully the House can block it. If Republicans loose the House this year we can expect a total sell out to political correctness.

The BS about illegals doing jobs that Americans won’t do is offensive. There is no job in this country that is being done by a majority of illegals. Americans ARE working those jobs and the numbers prove it.
