| Active Combat uniform? Basic (butt kickin) duty uniform?? Heck even I don't know - we called them fatigues too cause ya knew without a doubt that you were gonna be real fatigued by the end of the day if ya were told to wear those!! That's my own philosophy on "fatigues"... course they were called fatigues long before my 74 stint!! It's hell to be experienced and stupid ain't it Bubba???....... but ya ain't alone!!!

| So, they are just changing the name to keep us vets guessing...ACU = Active Combat Uniform, BDU = Battle Dress Uniform, sounds like the same thing to me, I'm just glad all I had to worry about were my OD (Olive Drab) fatigues. Who is the guy that sits around thinking up the names for this stuff!

| Achronims............ it's what the world is all about!!! LOL sucks don't it???? Course bottom line is they don't look good on anyone till they have been tailored!! Same as 30 years ago!!
