Just a reminder.

The way I understand it is that each clue contains a key word. Put the key words together to find the location.

Thanks Detector for posting the clues. Can't believe that the Globe is waiting till the next day to add clues to their website. We are on our way to Dodge City today for vacation. Maybe the kids and I will have a chance to look too.

Hyway 50 goes through both!!

Hyway 50 also takes two paths through Dodge City.

Hyway 50 also coincides with Santa Fe Trail, doesn't it?

Cars, this could mean railroad cars.... Hmm... Santa Fe Railroad Station

I went down and looked along the railroad. The only place along the railroad where I could find tall grass was behind Kwik Car and Subway inline with SHORT Street between Santa Fe and Short Street off Trail. I also noticed that the railroad split off as if to take two trails right in that area by the Co-op. There is a sign right there on Trail by the railroad that says "Watch out for the Cars"

Yes but only west of town. It would be 400 to the east and Earp in town

The Santa Fe Trail did split near Wright Park. One continued west along the Arkansas the other crossed the Arkansas at Wright Park and followed Sunnyside out of town toward Ensign and to Santa Fe via La Jornada del Muerto. Or the Journey of Death.
