Right now the only terrorist I want to destroy is the engineer who did the #3 cylinder spark plug placement of a Ford 4.0 6 cylinder.

I know the feeling. I'm still recovering from changing the spark plugs on my Z. My arm looks like hamburger.

One thing we can say is that the opinions on the Iraqi war, at this point, are still only speculation. I'm confident that in time the Iraqi invasion will be validated and history will say Bush was one of our greatest presidents.

Two Middle East mothers are sitting in a cafe chatting over a
plate of tabouli and a pint of goat's milk.


The older of the mothers pulls her bag out and starts flipping through
photos and they start reminiscing.



"This is my oldest son Mohammed. He would be 24 years old
now"



"Yes, I remember him as a baby" says the other mother
cheerfully.



"He's a martyr now though" mum confides.



"Oh, so sad dear" says the other.



And this is my second son Kalid. He would be 21"



"Oh, I remember him," says the other happily, "he had such
curly hair when he was born".



"He's a martyr too " says mum quietly.


"Oh, gracious me ...." Says the other.



"And this is my third son. My baby. My beautiful Ahmed. He
would be 18", she whispers.



"Yes" says the friend enthusiastically, "I remember when he
first started school".



"He's a martyr also," says mum, with tears in her eyes.



After a pause and a deep sigh, the second Muslim mother looks
wistfully at the photographs and says ..



"They blow up so fast, don't they?"

Bush the elder might be seen as a great president. His son, George W., will just be seen as the ignorant ass that he is.

Whatever I think of the current Bush president, he did learn two lessons from his father. Bush I's little "read my lips" campaign pledge came back to bite him from his base when he did the right thing for the country, and Lee Atwater set the example for the attack dogs of Clinton and Bush II.
