Ellsworth Kansas is positioning itself as the location of the

The National Drovers Hall of Fame seeks to build a cornerstone of commitment, dedication and loyalty within our community, state and nation through the restoration of Ellsworth's Signature Insurance Building and the establishment of the National Drovers Hall of Fame.
The National Drovers Hall of Fame acknowledges the endeavors of the drovers - America's real cowboys - as the founders of the great American cattle industry. It recognizes the unique history of the cattle drive era by honoring the drovers, the cattle, the horses, the men, the women, the railroads, and the cattletowns which made it all happen by sharing the legacy, promotion the beef industry and preserving the cowboy way of life.

Ellsworth Kansas is hosting a cattle drive and other events this weekend to promote its heritage:

This Event is to Benefit the Kansas Cattle Towns Coalition, and the National Drovers Hall of Fame. Dont Miss This Event of a Lifetime!

And Boothill is holding its hand out for a handout.
And our Shamber of Konmerce is taking credit for Dodgetober Fest.
