From what I can see the mission now is try and keep the quagmire from getting into a full blown civil war.

You tell me, or perhaps you'd like me to post chronologically the reasons the puppet-in-chief has given for Iraq?

You can let the thread die if you want, I've said what I needed to say.

I have posted that last half of your sentence previously as being my ultimate belief but in fact we will never know. Planning during Clinton or not, the attack took place on Bush's watch. One potential key to breaking the case was in custody during Bush's watch. Unfortunately we will never know given the same info if the Clinton folks would have got lucky and connected the dots.

Just to be on record for future discussions, I did not state the college was a bad thing.

Seems to me that having someone in your party responsible for your party's efforts in that state and having the same person in charge of voting proved more valuable.

OK. Either you're whining, or you can explain why "your" party lost its clout/power within the Electoral College.

I don't remember it being an "all or nothing" situation.

Whining? Someone should smack you on the nose with a rolled up newspaper! Oh wait, you're still in dodge, dodge doesn't have a NEWSpaper.

The last time I whined was when the on field referee over turned the pass interference call against Auburn in the LSU-Auburn game.

My party didn't loose clout with the Electoral College, neither party is supposed to have clout with it. That one person ran the election for the GOP AND certified the results in Florida just made it easier for the GOP in the end. I spent most of my life in Floriday, I finished high school, business school and got married in Florida. There's are reason I no longer live in Florida.

And for the record I am not saying another recount would have changed the Florida result, if Gore had won his home state, then Florida would not have been an issue.
