The network published a partial transcript on its Web site but did not quote the exchanges in which it said the congressman and the high school student apparently had orgasms. Former pages gave ABC News the transcripts, which were dated 2003, the network reported.

| How would they know - if they weren't there.......... come on an IM isn't like a stained blue dress with forensic evidence.......... all it says is that the guy used extrememly poor judgement and the children were not safe around him. It doesn't imply any physical contact. This story ain't over yet - this is gonna go on and on............ meanwhile what the hell - a child of 16 is old enough to know what he's doing so there is some wierd shit goin on there too. It's not like this page is 2 yo. It seems like they didn't use very good judgement in selecting this page any more than Foley used in talking with the kid. Hell in backwoods Arkansas - 16 is a full growd grandma!!

| In DC 16 is the legal age of consent. So while this is repulsive and wrong from a public servant regardless of his party affiliation....I wonder if he broke any laws. I haven't had time to keep up with the flurry of news....has he been charged with breaking any laws?

| The whole thing is political cuz it's poli-ticks we are watching and it's poli-ticks we are infested with... on both sides. The timing of the release of the messages smells of political timing.... releasing them on the last day of CONgress was thoughtfully planned and they were hoping for certain results. We'll see how it works out. Anyone who had prior intimate knowledge of these shananigans and withheld information is morally guilty of allowing cyber-pedophilia..... for political gain.
