| You are just not getting the point - It's not you that I am saying this about - it's Wal Mart........ you are not a corporation that waves a flag to get customers in - Wal Mart is........ I don't know how to make it any plainer...... you on the other hand are entitield to beieve what you want, buy from who you want, and think what you want........ sorry babe - you are having a comprhension issue with my point. - It's not about you! It's about corporate Walmart - can't make it any plainer - we as citizens have the right and the responsibility to question and question often - we don't altho have the right to make a mockery of our democracy - well I guess we do have that right but I just find it in bad taste at certain times. You are gonna have be able to see the point to understand it........ I can't help ya there......... wish I could but then that's what's so great about a forum - not all have to agree................ain't America great? We should take better care of her.............. FWIW - hell I have poked fun at Bush... I haven't tried to make $$ off of it during war time and I don't market it - I do it here.... I poke fun at Democrats tooo....... I have no favorites....... But democracy, America, military, and law enforcement are always my favorites..... hands down - it's who I am, what I do, what I did and what my son does...... it's a personal thing. I'm sure you are passionate about your beliefs..... would you expect me not to be???? Cause you can't , don't, won't understand my point?....... that too is your right.......

| I am not a fan of wal mart by any means...if you make it to dodge and check out their veterans memorial, you will find a huge wal-mart star in the middle of the bricks, as well as other business logos surrounding it. Why is that necessary. That is solely a means by which to advertise. i dont see how you can bill a corporation as being patriot. I'm sure they sell bibles and pictures of jesus or something, but i wouldnt consider them religious. I also don't see how you can pool political satire and pornography together in a category as you have. and i dont agree with honoring vets and bashing a sitting president to be yin and yang.

| Hey, D - I don't like to step in where my opinion obviously isn't wanted, but I gotta post here. That's not at all what Texie was posting - I understand her thoughts very well, so let me take a try. I can poke fun at my sister all I want. But I'll be damned if I'll let the local diner post her picture and poke public fun of it. Kinda the same thing here. You and I and everybody else can make all the fun of Bush while he's in office that we want to. It's in poor taste for the biggest retailer in the US to do so. Is that any better?

| It's odd that a retailer will profit from selling material in opposition to the President or opposing our efforts against jihad; but won't even consider selling something defined as non-PC.

| Thanks KC - It really isn't a personal thing to you D - I adore ya and have enjoyed all your posts even if I don't agree with all of em - I can't think of any that ever riled me up, even the current one. It's just the way I think. It's not a right or wrong - it's a priciple thing. Course I don't own WM stock so I'm not gonna profit a bit when the tape sells out - which I'm sure it will. I just won't be a buyer - you can have my copy! Your principles are just as sacred as mine - I respect yours and your right to have them. WM on the other hand is just makin $$ on some folks desire to aquire a DVD I consider to be in bad taste at this particular time in our current situation. WM has caved to non family, non patriotic issues before and bragged about bein a good american company...... I just find this move to be hipocritical. It's all good tho - we'de be real borin if we all thought the same. Some things in life (and women) fellers just are never gonna get. I really feel you understand my concept just don't agree with it. I don't like to argue and even debating to the inth degree tires me....... lets just call it "differences" Wordy = ![]()

perhaps an unclear approach to your analogy, but it seems right. wal mart is trying to make a buck plain and simple, there is no need to try and make this a "their being patriotic but by selling this they are not" wal mart is not patriotic. by buying, selling, or watching this video that does make a person non-patriotic, period.
