I listen to NPR on occasion. I like to hear the news from various viewpoints to see how it can be twisted and skewed....So far I think MSNBC is the most twisted. Maybe that's why their ratings are in the toilet.

All I can say is thank god this idiot didn't stand a chance at president. Now he's trying to say he simply forgot to the word us. Now just where was this "us" supposed to fit in that remark? This guy can't even lie worth a crap and thinks we're dumb enough to not see it. Typical democrat.

In all fairness you bought WMD's... so maybe he thought it was worth a try.

He needs to admit he screwed up the statement - which from what I have heard - he really did. He owes an apology to any serviceman that might feel offended. It's the gentlemanly thing to do.......... oh I forgot politicians are NOT gentlemen..........

Foot in Mouth Disease

Thanks Army for your words. Kerry should learn to keep his mouth shut
or some of us old military guys might do some harm to him. Wouldn't take much to scare him to death - he's a coward.

I don’t think any reasonable person thinks his comment was anything other than a gaffe. It’s how he is handling the damage control that has people upset.

Careful Army, he spends more on that ‘do than Wordy makes.

In all fairness, the Democrats were selling those WMD’s before Bush was.

Mel Gibson stuck his foot in his mouth awhile back but he was drunk and admitted that he screwed up. Ted Kennedy recently called fellow Democrat Obama “Osama” and no one paid attention because he’s always drunk. Maybe John Kerry should take up drinking. He said he botched the joke. I’ll bet he was for it before he was against it.

Sen. John Kerry issues a statement saying: "I personally apologize to any service member, family member, or American who was offended" by comments he made about being "stuck in Iraq."

After remarks, Kerry curtails campaigning for Democrats - CNN.com

There ya go. Start hammering away at the apology you asked for.

Wierdie,

Would you please tell skerry to schedule my 'personal' apology sometime after he meets with Army of One. I'm 'feard I'd tear-him-up too much and AoO wouldn't be able to find his hair.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks 'ole buddy, 'ole pal.

Father forgive me for I have sinned.
I went to cnn's website....

There it was in bold letters:

Kerry apologizes for 'misinterpreted' words

Wow, talk about taking responsibility for your actions. That john kerry sure is a man's man!

Anyhoo,
Father forgive me for I have sinned.... again.
I went to kerry's website, too....

kerry's website flashed the statement along with a remorse-ful picture (screenshot attached).

Ok, remind yourself about the rulez of kapital-I-za-shun before you read the statement from his site. At the very least he could have capitalized "service member, family member" to show them as proper nouns.

Are you an american, or an American?
