There's no doubt that the .25 can kill you just have to be damned lucky to get that shot and the .380 is just an inaccurate round at best.

| I've got a pocket holster for my .380, it is small enough that it will fit nicely in jeans or even shorts or sweats.

| My .40 hides just fine and I can actually hit things with it.

| I wouldn't have any reservations about shooting and hitting what I was aiming at with my .380 from 0-15 yards. If I want to shoot something farther away than that I would use my CZ-40P, also a 40 S&W, or break out the AK47.

| You can call it that if you want. I would call it prepared.

| I think they are trying to prove that a society with a declared "war on drugs" is more violent than a society that tolerates, regulates and administers drugs to those who chose to abuse drugs.

| Pardon me for playing the Devil’s advocate on this. Most all cops are good folks but every now and there you have a few bad apples and the occasional screw up. No doubt these cops were fired upon but I’ll go back and ask why they didn’t have the place under surveillance and verify the guy they wanted was there before kicking in the door. As for being clearly marked “POLICE” the T-shirts and caps are sold at the Army Surplus store and come in SWAT and ATF also. I’m sure I could find a vest if I wanted one if you think the homeowner was checking that close as her door was being kicked in. There was a case a couple of years ago in Colorado that I followed where the cops were responding to a 911 hang-up call. There was no warrant being served. The explanation to why they were at the wrong house was a system malfunction that displayed the wrong address. So the cops go up to the house and peek in the window. Seeing a guy in his living room handling a pistol (it turns out he was preparing for a competition shoot) they burst in the door and shot the guy. The cops claimed the man had pointed his gun at them. The man was charged and went to trial only to be acquitted after loosing his house to legal fees. It seems the jury didn’t buy the claim that the man pointed his gun at the cops because his bullet wound entered his butt and exited his chest. The DA said that he prosecuted on the officers statements and had never checked the medical report. There was another case were two cops had a woman cornered in her garage. She was armed with a broom and a can of bug spray. Fearing for their lives the cops shot and killed her. So I’ve got to go with Wordy and question some of these shootings. If not the cops will stop being careful about the use of deadly force. I’ve never liked the use of the “Dynamic Entry” because of the high risk to cops and civilians alike.
