That's why it's America - you get to choose your opinion....... course ya know I gotta go with the cops till proven wrong. I agree it has happened but I give them my benefit of the doubt every time - course you knew that!! LOL...... It's all good to me - I just stand behind the badge till I am shown it's not been put on right. Just who, what, and how I am.......... do the same for the military............ choice......... I like my side better. Good point of view tho - just doesn't convince me and mine

My door was kicked in when I was 17 yo............. so yep I do think that way. Course I was doin what I wasn't supposed to be doin and I'm lucky as hell I didn't have charges against me. They scared the crap outta me and I ain't messed with drugs since. Forgot to add - I wasn't a casual user - I was dealin........... I thank my old narc cop that we all hated for doin it too. It's a hard lesson.

I didn't say there wasn't a mistake made - but there was buys bein made in the house - do ya think she didn't know? As long as it's illegal thises things will go on. I personally dont care if it's legal or not - wouldnt change my habits none. I still errrrr on the side of the law enforcers not the law breakers no matter what I feel the law should be.

Hell yes we claim you and luv you...... sheeeee_it.... you dint' know nothing when you were 17....your puter hadn't downloaded any useful info at that age...and besides that... I myself....figure I would have been at Woodstock on some guys shoulder....swinging my top around....no bra of course....and having a great time.....but I was married and missed it..THANK GOD

I SHUDDER to think now.... of all the things I would have been into....had my hubby not saved me from myself....

I prefer knowing someone who has experienced LIFE..that way ...if you go to them for advise or to talk about a problem....they know what they are talking about....

I went down pretty much the same road when I was younger, too.

Just glad I had family to kick some sense into me.

That's the whole problem with kids nowadays. They have no "family boot" to keep them headed in the right direction!! Thank God the PC was not an issue back then, or we would all be headed down the wrong road!! I knew if I got out of line, I would get my ass kicked. Today, it is the other way around!

Officials say the FBI will lead an investigation into the fatal shooting of an elderly Atlanta woman during a drug raid last week.

The announcement was made by Police Chief Richard Pennington at a news conference Monday afternoon, where he was joined by officials from the FBI, the US Attorney’s Office, the GBI and Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard.

A search warrant released by State Court in Fulton County says Atlanta police were looking for cocaine when they forced open the door of Kathryn Johnston Tuesday night, resulting in a shootout in which three officers were wounded. The warrant says the information came from an informant.

The informant told officers that the home had surveillance cameras that the suspected drug dealer, called “Sam,” monitored carefully.

Police have said “Sam” had sold drugs from inside Johnston’s home to an informant, prompting the officers to seek a “no-knock” warrant. Such warrants are frequently used by police to get inside a home before suspects have a chance to get rid of drugs.

But a local television station aired an interview on Monday evening with a man who said he was the informant, and he said he never told officers that he bought drugs at Johnston's house.

Pennington said at a news conference on Sunday that the department will review its policy on “no-knock” warrants and its use of confidential informants.
