There's snakes in their woodpile.... I'd say that it's time to burn the woodpile.

No knock warrents have been served for quite awhile - my guess is the informant was bad - that's where the problem lies...... It's dirty business and as long as it's illegeal and folks are willing to let grandchildren and children use them as "fronts" this kinda thing will go on. That whole damn family knew what was goin on I bet......... too bad granny felt she should protect the dope (both her grandson and the stash)......

From what I can gather up to now, it was a bad bust from top to bottom.
Back in the 70s while going to KU, I had a job cleaning a 24-hour grocery store late at night. One night about 3 a.m. I spotted two biker types walk in, immediately split up and take the ourside aisles to the back of the store. There were only the cashiers, a stock person and me in the store at the time. My red flags smelled robbery so I tried to mop as fast as I could to a safe place. A couple of minutes later both of the bikers walked up my aisle. As they shoved their way by I heard metal on metal and soon saw they had handcuffs on their belts and were carrying heat under their leathers. They were undercover, but I'd bet my last dollar that if they wrongly busted down some of the DCB members' doors, even with the requisite "police" announcement, they'd be shots fired and blood spilled.
The War on Drugs was/is/always will be a mess. Better to educate, regulate and rehabilitate then spend billions on an unwinnable war propped up with bad intel, little to no backup planning and no exit strategy. Mmmm, sound familiar, Wordy?

Where was it said that there were drugs at her house? Did I miss an important fact? Or, are you just saying it is so because the police had a warrant?

That's how they got the warrent - there were drugs bought earlier by thier informant...... ya can't get a warrent just cause you "think" there were drug deals goin on - there has to be a crediable source - judges won't sign one without it. Thier informant as it turns out looks to be bad...... I don't "just say" too much - I usually have read it or have heard a report on the news...... The only thing I see as "just sayin".... is that narcotics shoulda went undercover and bought thier own stuff. Informants aren't always reliable....... as in this case as it turns out. So they (the news) are sayin

If Al Sharpton wasn’t so busy in New York with the guy that got a bad case of lead poisoning at his bachelor party he’d be down there stirring the pot.

He could send Jesse... but it seems to me that they have been awfully quite bout this.... could it be that they called the police chief already? I think there is so much bout this that we won't and don't know...... That's why it's ccalled undercover..... we aren't suposed to know! When it's all said and done - I would be willing to bet it ain't quite as bad as it looks...... usually never is.
