| "Rabbi Elazar Bogomilsky, who made his request weeks ago, said he was appalled by the decision. He had hired a lawyer and threatened to sue if the Port of Seattle didn't add the menorah next to the trees, which had been festooned with red ribbons and bows. "They've darkened the hall instead of turning the lights up," said his lawyer, Harvey Grad. "There is a concern here that the Jewish community will be portrayed as the Grinch." What did they expect? I don't think the Jewish Community as a whole should be seen as a Grinch... Just this one guy. Maybe they should go where he works and sue if there are not Christmas Trees. I mean if it was someone who worked at the airport complaining I could muster up some sympathy but this guy was just walking through. For goodness sake even Jesus was a Jew.

| Sorry had to delete my first message - I wrote before I read - He reallly is being a pest. I see his point but he is bein a pest - not many Jewish faith folks do I see wanting in on the Christmas action. Another PC monster at work. I bet the Rabbi would have donated the menorah if asked....... just what the world needs radical rabbis......... man don't we have enough radicals as it is????

| The rabi almost sounds disapointed that he didn't get to sue. I agree with Wordy, the jewish community isn't the grinch just the one guy.

| I really do not believe that the Christmas tree represents a religous symbol of Christmas, but rather a symbol of the commercialism of the season. If this had been a Cross or Nativity scene, the rabbi may have had a case. Shame on the airport and every other business that bends towards someone's idea of political correctness! Shame on the lawyers that promote this! If you are not Christian and do not want to participate in the season, then don't. I personally do not participate in Romadon, hannuka, etc. I see a menhora, I comment on its looks and go on about my life.

| Does anybody here watch Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip on NBC? The show last week was a Christmas show. The part I found interesting is the Executive Producer/Head Writer for the the show within the show is Jewish and he was the one pushing the hardest to have a Christmas show and he had more christmas spirit than most of the non-jewish cast members within the show. Don't know why I really posted this just thought that it kinda fit into this conversation......

| Interstingly, in order to keep up with political correctness, should we have a Salvation Army menorah with "angels" on it? What other holiday works hard to help those in need, and who cares of the religous preferrences of those in need? BACK OFF AND LEAVE CHRISTMAS ALONE!

| Trees Return Trees being returned at Seattle airport, thanks to airline workers - USATODAY.com I have to take my hat off to the workers who did this. We need more people like them.
