Phill Kline rides again

Holy cow. Just listening to the news.....top story in Johnson County tonite is that we have a new County Attorney. None other than Phill Kline. My first thought is that nobody ran against him. Not so. What the hell? He wasn't good enough for the State of Kansas so he decided he'd just settle in Johnson County?

He wouldn't give a news conference after the vote - his dog was having puppies. Oh........my.........God...............

Good luck. He will probably do mostly administration and his assistants will do the prosecution. You won't see much difference. Not until a high profile case. Then he will make sure he gets his name in it.

Sad part about it is that Phill gets a raise.

What's the story....?

The JO-CO Attorney's elected as a Republican but X'z out his Repub tattoo and gets a Democratick 'too so he can run against Kline... gets elected as Attorney General leaving his desk open for a Repubican committee nomination.... so Phil gets the nod from the Johnson County Republican Committee. It's still up to the madam Gov's final word.

But all this switchin' around and changing associations and such that makes me wonder if'n there aint a couple of secretaries being swapped.

Hey! And just how did Johnson Co come to deserve somethin' like that? Be nice.....................

Cool

As a citizen of Johnson County, I don't believe I deserve Phil Kline, any more than I deserved John Ashcroft, Sam Brownback, Don Rumsfeld, and George W. Bush - but I have to endure them anyway...
