Well, for no one wanting to do the jobs that illegals take, the raided Swift plants sure had a long line of people applying for jobs to replace those that were detained.

Out of curiosity, do you agree or do you not agree that the illegal entry and attempt to establish residency in the US should be classifed as a more serious offense than it is presently considered?

There are enough laws and prolly too many laws. Enforcement is expensive. Prosecution is even more expensive when we consider all the legal eagles we'll have to provide and pay to defend them against the other legal eagles we pay to prosecute them. Add to that the cost of incarceration and deportation.

Illegal's already willingly pay coyotes for the chance of entry and I'll bet they will pay double that cost for a 24 month work visa.
