I know he jokes about Kerry, the Klintons and Bush...BUSH more than any other. The point is Letterman leans WAY to the left. *See the interview he did will Bill O'Reilly. He wouldn't even answer when Bill asked him if he wanted us to win in Iraq. He will make fun of anyone he can to get a laugh...(nothing wrong with that) but he's very left leaning...

when bill was in office there were a lot of clinton jokes, no problem, now there are a lot of bush jokes. Ya he is on the left, but who cares...its awfully difficult to stand in the middle. Saw the episode with bill o'reilly and loved it. O'Reilly I don't like.

I personally could care less which way a person leans as long as they are honest about it. I don't think a journalist or news organization should pick sides because it covers things in an unfair way then. Dan Rather is a perfect example. As far as O'Reilly goes.........like him or hate him, he pulls no punches with whomever he is interviewing. I think on many occasions he is quick to choose sides when it involves the courts and law enforcement, but he is fair in criticizing both parties in politics, in my opinion.

I agree. He's critical of Bush on the war but also critical of the Dems. I wish there were more people do less biased reporting like Bill. Won't find that on CNN or MSNBC.
