Hillary running for Pres

Wow, really? What a shocker..........

Anyway....I know how many will feel about this as the political lines are pretty much drawn. What I am wondering, if this discussion can be held without the name calling and such, is exactly how people feel about this issue. What are her pro's, what are her con's? Can she win? If not, why would she lose?

It’s way too early to make predictions Dutch but I did hear today that George Sorors has shifted his support from Hillary to Obama. That likely means millions of dollars working against her in the primaries. It begs the question if the far left web sites funded by Sorors that have been full of hateful attacks on Republicans will turn on her to help Obama. She isn’t popular with the anti-war segment of the far-left because of her past support for the war.

On the plus side there is a large amount of single women that normally don’t vote that may turn out for the first time to vote for any woman regardless of her politics. On the other hand there’s likely some segment of the population that wouldn’t vote for any woman.

Hillary needs to play to the far left to win the primary and then shift to the center if she wants to pull enough votes from the middle of the road folks. Since most folks don’t pay any attention to politics until a few weeks before the election she might pull it off but watch for some fancy dancing on the issues.

I think Obama is going to do to Hillary what Dean did to Kerry. As long as the far-left controls what happens with the Dems, any candidate in that party is going to have trouble. No far-right Republican has a chance and any that think they do are in for a shock. It is the middle of the road types that will win. Hillary has been all over the spectrum and that is going to hurt her. She is no Bill and does not have the charisma he does, which also wins elections. I think she will ignite the Republicans into getting more people out to vote just because most of them loathe her.
I also believe that any Democratic candidate that does not do interviews with conservative reporters will be shooting themselves in the foot.

I think you’re right on those calls. More of the middle of the road folks that both sides need to win are listening to conservative reporters now than ever before. Avoiding them will likely alienate those much needed middle ground votes.

Presidential elections always generate more of a turnout than a midterm election and that could also effect the current majority in Congress. It was pointed out by someone that 40,000 votes in select districts is all it took to give the Democrats Congress this time around. It makes an interesting dilemma for Democrats in Congress. Do they do the bidding of the far left Sorors crowd that has the big bucks or do they moderate themselves in an attempt to swing the Presidential race?

Just for fun, did anyone notice in Hillary’s announcement the leaves on the tree in the window? Is this a set or was it filmed months ago?

I don't think Hillary will be able, truly, to be moderate. I think her vote to allow late term abortions will bite her. I also think that she does not have the "clout" to keep her skeletons in her closet.
I also do not believe she is the Democrat darling people think she is. I get the feeling that most of the Dems on the hill really do not trust or like her when it comes down to it.

Just my opinion but I believe Obama is unelectable and time will show that. Hillary will come out on top because she already has a lot of people in place...just wait. Obama....do you think the average white, redneck is going to vote for a black guy with a muslim name with 2 whole years of Senate experience? Maybe in Chicago and NY but you can forget about the entire south from West Virginia all the way down to Texas.... Barack Hussein Obama......then again people never seem to fail to surprise. They elected Marion Barry after he was caught on tape smoking crack with hookers and re-elected Nagin after his "city of chocolate" remark....

Well it's starting - I got an email that went into great detail how Obama was really muslim............ in disguise......... how his mom doctinated him and how he is just a muslim at heart........... a radical muslim at that............ personally I plan on goin to see Hillary's site tonight - I plan on at least trying to pay attention enough and show enough interest to at least listen to what they all have to say. For me tho when they start slingin the mud and bein stupid.......... they will lose me........... I see Hillary as being approachable and at least trying to reach out. I plan on listening and actually look forward to it! I hope whoever gets elected will be honest enough to honor thier campagin promises................ unlike our Republican Governor Rick Perry who lied (that's right outright lied) to the fine folks of Texas to get elected.......... now he's sellin our land for a superhiway for the human smugglers and the drug dealers............ at least I know I didn't vote for his lyin ass............ I will listen to all the candidates so long as they don't make me throw up with thier politics.......... I want a candidate that is interested in folks no matter what thier political party.

I highly doubt it, I just saw on the news the other day about record high temps in Washington and that the cherry blossoms on the trees were starting to bloom and that the flowers were blooming.

APPROACHABLE...you have got to be kidding me. This woman doesn't take a crap unless it's scripted. She is a control person...just wait.
