I'm glad you have a sense of humor as I do!

I understand what you are saying in what you posted earlier....I like to help people also. I used to do the big brother program but I don't hardly have the time now. TEE does it and gives a lot of time to it and that's great. With that example I'm sure he will make a HUGE difference in his little brothers life and how he turns out. But when kids are in gangs the peer pressure and the mob mentality combined with the crappy home life if there even is a home is a lot to overcome. I agree with TEE that enforcement of the immigration laws would be a good start but that isn't going to happen any time soon. I think it would take more people in the community to be involved and the overall "give a sh*t" level to rise about 10 notches. I think the community should help police it's self. That would be a start.....

Not trying to defend Wordy too much but it's not about being for or against violence..I don't think very many people advocate violence. ON the marine issues I think he was trying to say that violence even in the name of God or to prove a GOD point is not only wrong but hypocritical.

I agree with Wordy on this one! I deal with these ba$tards on a daily basis, and most of them just need to be "euthanized"! They should have ZERO rights!! Most of them live and eat better in prison than you or I!!

Ok, I will play Devil's advocate on this one......

I believe in hard time for hard crime. As far as the Carr brothers are concerned, I say cut them up into little itsy bitsy pieces and bury them in a pile of cowshit. THEY are the perfect example of lives not worth saving. Unfortunately, that will never happen.

I too worked, basically lived, with these types for 8 years. Jail is hard time, prison is easy. I also agree, as I first posted, some criminals should on a daily basis be force fed rat poison, revived, then fed it again. Short of that, hard time would do.

Where I will disagree is that they have it better than most people. Loss of freedom--the freedom to choose, move, decide or refuse-----is not a fun ride. If you think being in prison, or jail, is better than the life you lead, or better than someone elses, it is easy to get there. While I will agree that they do get many perks that they would not have otherwise........how many people will be in prison for the rest of their lives? Not many. The purpose of allowing them to get an education, vocational training and such is to hopefully get them out of the life they lead and make them a contributing member of society. Does it work? Not always, but that is not because of the idea but because of the implementing of it.
