While in essence that is true, but you will find that the middle class after paying their mortgage, fuel, electricity bill, gas bill, food bill, insurance, etc. have no money left to invest in these things. It is the rich that still have money left after the bills are paid to buy stocks.

Is it fair that a person can drink whiskey and do cocaine, but since his daddy is/was Director of CIA/Vice-President/President, that he can get out of serving in Vietnam and then go on to become President himself? Just because of who his daddy was and that they have money?

What income would you consider someone to be wealthy Bubba?
You would pick that part out instead of the most important part of his quote...

I am a master of nothing....NEVER profess to be and probably never will be. That is why I like hearing everyone's opinion here...(mostly). Most people have something good to offer in way of opinion. Others just write pointless comments offering no opinion or solution. I like to hear peoples takes on topics whether that solution or opinion is something workable or something anyone agree's with....

....and your point of this post was what Drifter?

I read it the first time. A one man survey in his office. Hardly something to base public policy on.

It’s every bit as fair as making a commitment to ROTC to serve and then skipping the country to avoid it and then going on to be President and giving press conferences with a bright red “snow nose”. What does it have to do with good tax policy?

Well if you're no expert in everything, then you build a strong case for it without having to say it.

For the Master Economist check here:
This is scary but could it happen here...?
Post #1 is a good example "Forgive these people for they know not what they do!!!"
Real Estate Saleman here:
How's your flood insurance?
Post #12 is a good example "Nothing in Dodge short of a casino will ever drive the housing prices up....Buying a house here is like buying swamp land in Florida or Desert in California..."
For the Politcal Scientist check any of the threads around Election day.

Purpose of that post as well as many others, is to point out truths as i see them. I like to call people on BS and also call them out when they don't point out both sides. Any good english instructor will tell you you won't be credible if you don't point out the counter points.
