Super Bowl ad that Vote Vets group is trying to air.

Here is an ad that the group Vote Vets is trying to get to air during the Super Bowl.

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

By the way, Andrew Horne at the end of the ad is a United States Marine Reserve Lieutenant Colonel.

Anyone can buy air time if they have the $$ to do it. There will be a counter ad I'm sure by Vets For Escalation.............. not all vets feel the same - that ad just shows me there are always 2 sides but then I already knew that.

I also wonder how many of them were reservists? Sometimes folks join the military for thier gain only - when they actually have to go and do the dirty part of the contract they get pissed off cause their life was interrpted. I respect and admire any vet - but ya have to realize some vets went willinglly (knowing this was thier obligation for thier commitment) - other vets went kickin and screamin cause they never dreamt they would actually have to go to war. They joined for all the wrong reasons! Country was never first - benefits were.

I agree not all vets feel this way and even some reservists are ready to go fight for their country as well. If it was me I would be on the other side of this ad. Now don't get me wrong i'm not one of those people that's seen too many action movies, if it were me as a soldier I would be proud to do my duty whatever that entailed.

Just a point that not all feel like that. Or they felt like that but are going thru the process of grief you go thru when you get hurt or see more carnage than you can handel. We as humans I don't think are wired to engage in war. It is a trained action - some can do it - some can do it but never get over it. Both are still vets, both are still honored and honorable, both are still entitled to thier democratic opinion. The comercial won't sway me any - either one of them
