| 65 to 23 in 12 hours Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. North northwest wind between 10 and 13 mph. Tonight: Patchy freezing fog after 3am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 23. North wind 7 to 10 mph becoming east. Wednesday: A chance of freezing drizzle. Patchy freezing fog before 8am. Cloudy, with a high near 29. East southeast wind between 6 and 10 mph.

| Enjoy, Detector! Where I am at, the high for the day is running around 8 below zero, with 50 below wind chills!! Actual temperature lows in this area are approaching 40 below actual temperature. The penguins won't even venture out without ear muffs!!! Snowing like hell this morning. Oh by the way, I am here investigating "global warming"!!   |

| Geesh! We are supposed to make it up to "zero" today! Damn, I will probably have a "heat stroke"!!! Oh well, the penguins can go back outside and play today. Little boogers crapped all over the bed!  |

| Geez. Yesterday morning (before the sun was up), I left KCI and the temp was 10 or 12 or something god-awful like that. Got off the plane in Phoenix and it was shirt-sleeve weather. When we walked out of the office in Phoenix, it was 83 degrees. Absolutely beautiful!!! (it was a dry heat) Got back on the plane and some folks behind us were also from KC - they had a phone call from folks in their KC office and it was 58 degrees here. Grumble, Grumble, Grumble. The only day during the week it gets above freezing and I got to Phoenix to get warm!!! Then I come back to a deep freeze!!!
