I've pretty much stayed away from this topic, because it just pisses me off.

But here's my two cents.

What she did was sickening, she's and adult and should know better. Plain and simple it was WRONG!!! If she were a man, and this child was a girl, She wouldn't just be in jail, she'd be UNDER the jail. Just because she's a woman, or the fact that she's pretty means NOTHING. She should have jail time of some kind.

If it had been my child one of us would be in jail. I'm not saying violence is the answer, but I don't know if I would have been able to contain myself. I would have knocked the holy shit out of her.

I'm not going to argue about the way it should be. I'm only saying how it is, IMO. If the teacher were a man and the student a girl, that's a WHOLE different thing. Not according to law, just according to reality. Don't agree with me? OK then, why do a high percentage of members here (mostly male) think this wasn't really such a big deal...worthy of joking about it. I venture that none of those people would say the same if the teacher were male. Society just sees this differently because the "victim" is of the stronger sex. It's kinda like Mike Tyson filing charges against Pee Wee Herman because Pee Wee beat Tyson up.
