We're all just speculating about how the case was plea bargained, but 5'll get you 10 that those involved in making the deal fully understand that the general public does not see this the same as if the teacher were a male.

My guess is one heavy influence in the plea was that the prosecutor probably interviewed the "victim" and knew that he held no malice for the teacher, and in fact would be sympathetic to her in any trial.

You gals just don't fully appreciate the simplicity of the male mind. What happened to/for that kid is the fantasy of 9 out of 10 of his male classmates. The other guy is gay.

All I did was drive home (took longer cuz it snowed just a tad and people are STUPID in the snow), go to Sonic and eat a bite, watch a half hour of TV and come back. I can't believe what you did while I was gone!

This poor little teacher......she's just not gonna get a rest, is she? I think we should take her to her own deluxe cell and let her think about what she's done for ... oh - 5 or 10 years or so.
