I am a BOA customer....I was furious when I heard this...

Remember on one post quite awhile back...I was ranting about BOA having a prompt on their phone ...listed under other options...to send money to Mexico..

Now this...!!!!!!!

I read all your posts and I'm not sure what to do.... on the one hand its a pain in the arse to change banks and on the other hand they need to know how their legal customers feel.....

I have my funds direct deposited into my checking account and I love their online services....

If they are just the first in line to do this ....and our government has gave them their blessing ....and other banks will follow suit....WHO DO WE BANK WITH ?? It is all about profits ..... and I am at a loss .....

What you posted was not news from a credible source, it was an opinion from someone who, in my opinion, took valid issues with this credit thing and turned them into an essay designed to scare people and provide a little mass hysteria. Especially playing off those who think illegal immigration is plot to turn the national anthem into the Mexican Jumping Bean song.
Because they are opinions, they can be disagreed with but they can not be discredited. But bloggers and what appears to be primarily conservatives have gotten good at it.

I consider CBS to be a more credible service than lets say FOX. I say that because they have a system where incorrect reporting can be publicly dealt with and acknowledged. I quit watching CNN regularlythem when their sports coverages started to really suck so can't really offer an opinion on them other than everytime I turn the channel to them (at night) there's usually some *entertainment* news or a Larry King rerun.

According to federal law, it is a felony to knowingly aid and abet illegal aliens. This law goes unenforced as most of our immigration laws are.

Aid and abet laws apply to getting them across the border. They even apply to hiring them but they don't apply to providing banking services provided the laws and regulatory issues are followed. One can argue from both sides that the law and regs are incorrect but one can not state the banks are knowingly and willfully breaking the law by allowing banking relationships.

Remember, once they are here, they are entitled to all of the protections of the constitution until such time that the congress or courts change it.

They make good use of that too............. hell they use the protections more than the citizens do........... damn shame - but it's where we are and until our goverment has the balls to do something other than roll over and had the soap to the special interests................... well we are just screwed.... So the very least I can do is smile - when they come in - seems to make the day go by quicker!
