I don't see anywhere in that law that says they need to haul them here to be held accountable. Let me make it a bit clearer. Encouraging and Alien to come here OR reside(which is like staying in case you missed it) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law.

Now point out too me where it says anything about only if you haul them here?

I do, however have a problem with businesses that sell out America for the almighty $$. Illegal immigration has been in the news for how long now? And America has been raising hell to get the government to crack down and what does BOA do? give them credit cards. In my opinion they're basically saying we don't give a shit what America thinks.

If you don't know by now who I am and what I did in Dodge City then I can see why you can't separate an immigration law from a banking law.

Bringing and encouraging is not banking. Sheesh the treasury and IRS are allowing the banks to LEGALLY offer them banking arrangements. Our attorney general refered to them as something along the lines of unlawful but otherwise lawful residents or some such. Once they're here they have certain rights, like or not. I don't write the laws so get off my ass about it.

You don't like it, then write your congressman and don't forget the bribe, er...contribution so he'll listen for a change.

And again, I wasn't aware federal laws don't apply to banks only banking laws.

Now you're just picking what fits your needs. I said nothing about (i) which has your bringing and you don't think offering a credit card to illegals is not encouraging them to stay? If they had no jobs(thank you ignorant employers) they wouldn't be encouraged to come here. Giving them a credit card without needing to be here legally is encouraging them to stay as well.

Funny you should mention that. There is a website setup just for that purpose. To tell the government to get off their ass and enforce the law being broken by BOA.

There are federal immigration laws and then there are federal banking laws. If the federal government relaxes the identity rules and the IRS issues an alternative to a social security number then where is the law broken.

Of course I don't think offering them a banking relationship within the limits allowed by law is encouraging them to stay. They're here already. I think it makes it safer for them and us.

Did you move to dodge because they would give you a credit card here? do you stay here because you have a credit card? better yet, do you think (figuratively speaking in your case) that credit cards don't exist outside the good ole USA?

Again what law did they break? I didn't say I agreed with it, I said they were not breaking a law. I'll lay it on a T for you to hit, they are not breaking the letter of the law but I can make an argument they are breaking the spirit of the law. Maybe you should go there.
