Nice way to avoid the question. You should run for office. The intel didn't COME from the current administration. It come from both foreign and domestic intel agencies. Was it flawed? Probably was but they had to make a decision based on the intel they had. Hind sight is always 20/20. That's why I pose the question to you now. It's easy to bitch about what happened but what is your stance on Iran. How many of our soldiers have to die from Iranian supplied weapons before YOU would do something...and what would you do. Would you do nothing and just wait for someone else to make the decision and then bitch about it later?

Did I misunderstand? It was Bush, Cheney, Rice, Powell before the American people selling their reasons for war, wasn't it???......credibility is STILL shot. No ones rolling over that easy this time. PROVE IT. That's all anyone is saying........PROVE IT.

The simple fix would be to give our troops in Iraq the practice they should have when they get home.

Remove all troops from everywhere in that sandbox and move them to the borders.

Just close the friggin door and let nothing in or out.

Tell the government and the people of Iraq Here's your shot. Govern yourselves. Settle this or kill each other as you see fit.

If there is actual indisputable proof that Iran is supplying weapons then they've brought whatever shit happens on themselves. I mean look at how it worked ouf for us sending all that support to Saddam all those years ago in his war against them... Well maybe that's a bad example.

I'm all for giving the troops everything they need to get home with as many of their original parts as they can. I don't care who they have to kill or what they have to destroy to do that either. I want our troops ALIVE AND HOME.

Despite me agreeing with you or not Wordy at least you had the questions. Jhawk mom is chasing her tale and avoiding an answer. It's easy to bring up the past and point fingers but the bottom line is that we are in it. Are we in to win? If Iran is supplying munitions that are responsible for our troops death what do you do? Do we go after Iran? I understand based on the last intelligence glitch we should be more careful but I'm just posing the question...what if. Thanks for stepping up. Too bad others would rather hop on one leg and pat their head instead of ponying up an answer.

The Saddam/WMD business had been told to us by every major Democrat during the Clinton administration long before Bush ran for office. Clinton, Kerry, Kennedy and all the rest. Bush got his intel from CIA director George Tenet who was a Clinton appointee.

So is Bush’s credibility shot? Maybe, but if it is then every high profile Democrat on the hill has their credibility in the toilet too. Don’t overlook the possibility that the WMDs are still out there buried in the sand or were relocated out of the country.

The Democrats have their fair share of responsibility with this and it’s overdue for them to stop pointing fingers and whining.
