W is the "decider" he had the "flawed" information and he gave out what he wanted when he wanted to give it and hyped certain things while downplaying others.

If Iran is supplying weapons and muntions, in my humble opinion, sealing the border would take care of it in one of two ways.

1) Closing the border prevents it from happening again.
2) Closing the border leads to a violent clash that is easily tracable back to Iran and no more information is needed.

I guess a 3rd option would be for Israel to do what everyone is hoping/expecting and blow the shit out if Iran and then we'll HAVE to step in "to keep the peace."

Bush Administration says that they have no plans to go to war with Iran. Cites the fact that they didn't have any plan for going to war with Iraq, either as proof.

here's my take on it.

If bush wants to get into Iran, he'll do it. Remember the axis of evil. Iraq, Korea, and Iran. He stated his dislike for Iran long ago.

The bush administration is saying that these weapons are coming from Iran. If these are coming from the Iranian leaders then we have a problem. But if these weapons are just coming from iran then i see no reason to invade. Control what comes in and out of iraq. Really can we handle another battlefield. Maybe the leaders should read the rules to "Risk."

It is the military that is saying this, the administration is just repeating it.

The problem with proof, Jhawk, is what would you consider proof? Who would you consider it reliable from? Do you dislike the current administration so much that they could not proove it to you even if they tried? That is the problem with proof. The leader of Iran was involved with the taking of the American hostages in 1979. Do you believe it? They are trying to build nuclear facilities that can be used to enrich urainium that can be made into nuclear weapons. Do you believe that? Their leader has said, on numerous occasions, he wants Isreal wiped off the face of the map. Do you believe that? Iran funded the terrorist groups that attacked Isreal from Lebenon. Do you believe it? If you do not believ any of these things, who could convince you they were true?
I am with Wordy in that the borders need to be sealed, no one in, no one out. Help where we can but let them, the Iraqies, get this under control.
