Democrats Defend Iran...

Yup....*sigh...

Again, just an opinion but pretty much hits the nail on the head I believe. Again the guy writing this is NOT a Republican.

DEMOCRATS DEFEND IRAN

Democrats are sticking up for Iran...big-time. The Islamic terrorist state led by the loony Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has found some protection in Washington. Democrats are warning the administration not to do anything to Iran without building a case first. Meanwhile, Iran continues to support the insurgency in Iraq that is killing our troops. The defense department says it has hard evidence of Iran's involvement. Not good enough for the Democrats.

First up to apologize for Iran is The Poodle: "Every leader in the region and every observer, every expert here in our country, tells us that Iran does not want a complete and total implosion in Iraq." OK, fine. But how does that explain Iran's training of terrorists and their supplies showing up in Iraq? How does that explain Iranian explosive devises being used by Islamic terrorists against American troops? You do know that Iranian projectile bombs have killed 170 U.S. Troops. Perhaps it takes 175 for Kerry to get upset. I wonder if every troop killed by Iranian bombs will get a purple heart? Maybe John Kerry can give them one of his; after all, he didn't exactly earn them now did he?

Then we have Senator Jack Reed, Democrat, who just can't believe Iran is supporting the aggression in Iraq. He seems to think it could just be "rogue elements" in Iran. Evidently vowing to wipe Israel off the map doesn't make Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "rogue" enough. Then there's Ron Wyden, Socialist of Oregon, who is also wringing his hands: "The administration is engaged in a drumbeat with Iran that is much like the drumbeat that they did with Iraq. We're going to insist on accountability." Don't worry, America. Ron Wyden is going to be carefully counting those coffins. Evidently there is some secret amount that have to be killed by Iran before we'll do anything.

Once again, the Democratic Party exposes itself as a terrorist sympathizer at worst and extremely weak on defending America at best. There is no other conclusion to draw here.

I heard on the radio today that 'we' are going to increase the border security between Iraq & Iran to stop this invasion of terrorists & material.

This thought gave this old doG an urge to paws and reflect about how our medivac techniques have been improved as an outcome for our involvement in Korea and Vietnam......

Do 'ya think we might learn how to protect our own borders to stop the invasion of foreign labor.

Why don't you write Boortz and ask him about the James Baker suggestion to engage Syria and Iran in an effort to end the mess in Iraq? That would be the same Baker who served George II's father so admirably. Last I check he was also a republican.

Boortz is a bufoon. Go sometime to the atlanta journal constitution archives on their website and see if you can cull an article they did on him some years ago when he was trying to get into national syndication, then draw your own conclusions.

He's just a talk show host throwing out his own opinions and idea's. I personally agree with some of what he says bufoon or not. The Atlanta Journal? Who are they? He rips them so they will rip him. Tit for tat.

I'm not sure the gov't wants to stop the invasion even though I personally think the avg citizen wants that.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution is the local Atlanta (obviously) newspaper which was owned by the Cox Communications tho have no idea who owns it now. Used to be a decent "journalistic" paper until they hired a former USA Today publisher.

Anyway I digress....Boortz was a local commentator on an Atlanta talk radio station, selling himself then as more conservative than libertarian IIRC. The paper ran a feature on him, not attacking him, on his show and his desire/plans to syndicate nationally. I don't know how far back they keep their archives online but if you could find it, it might could give you some background on him more than what he and his website says.

And, so what's wrong with "Democrats are warning the Administration not to do anything to Iran without building a case first"????

That's being supportive of Iran???? Could it be that after they got burned with the WMD intelligence in Iraq the Democrats aren't so willing to sign on to the reports on Iran?

The checks and balances part of our Government, which prevents one part becoming too powerful, is finally working........What's wrong with making the Administration PROVE their position, to the satisfaction of the House and Congress, and to the satisfaction of the American People?

We are having trouble winning the war we are in, without starting shit with someone else.........that's what happened in Iraq........started out in Afghanistan with Bin Laden, and some how ended up in Iraq. There is no multi-national force......it's us and the Brits, and Blair has basically been booted.....so now it's US.....no one else. We better get one mess cleaned up before getting into another....

I'm not even going to get into the Kerry vs Bush military service issue.......regardless, there is NO comparison.

So..IF Iran is bringing high tech weapons into Iraq and the insurgents are using them to kill out soldiers and down our helicopters are WE starting sh*t with them or are they mixing it up with us? How many of our soldiers need to die from weapons provided by Iran before you would have us do something? How many?

Some will not answer "how many?" but will cry "why didn't you help me?" when the danger is only at their feet.
