Exclamation Irag

Does anyone know the Dodge City person killed in Iraq today? My prayers go out to the family.

The Patriot Guard has been notified.

Any updates?

My prayers go out, as well. I'll be watching for the name so there'll be a name in my prayers. Dodge lost enough boys in the VietNam war or whatever they called it. I'd hoped they'd be spared death in this War Against Terror.

According to the KSN website, a soldier from Wichita was killed on Saturday. However, I have not located any information regarding a Dodge City Solider.

This is what KSN is reporting:

Wichita, KS Feb 17, 2007- Two U.S. soldiers were killed in action on Saturday including one from Wichita. Private First Class Chad Eugene Marsh was killed by a grenade in a Northern Baghdad neighborhood. He is the son of Janet Marsh and a graduate of Northwest High School.

I am sure the information will be out soon, the mother was just notified on friday. I will not post any information about the name of the person. It is not my position to do so. This is a personal matter with the family. We should all respect their privacy in this time of grief. God bless their loss.

Whoever it is (that made the Ultimate Sacrifice in the performance of their duties in our Volunteer Military's struggle to contain terrorism) has my heart-felt Respect and Appreciation.

Prayers

Lets all pray for the families, of all who have lost soldiers in the past. Lets pray for the family, of this soldier. I lost a friend over there. But let keep the soldiers in our prayers as they are so far from home an in harms way all the time. It is a sad day when America Soldier dies. But it is even a sadder day when people protest what that soldier died for.

Paper Feb. 19, 2007

Just looked in the paper Feb. 19, 2007. Dodge City Daily Globe. It didn't have anything in it.
