I read some reports around the time of the November elections that this strategy was under consideration as a means to an exit. Not sure what the present status is on it.

The central tenet of reality is that we haven't found WMD. During our presence known as Operation Desert Storm, Saddamn launched SCUD rockets from launchers. I think it's more along the lines of the die hards who may secretly believe Bush is the idiot he's proven himself to be but to admit it would mean they would have to admit THEY put him there and that they themselves are wrong.

They'd rather fight tooth and nail for 2 more years and hope they can gain vindication with their next drone.
