| All 3-----------------ranch, dodge house, and coffee corral The businesses just keep falling in good ol' DC! Maybe our new drawing will be to visit the "ghost town"! Show the tourists an empty race track, an empty SEC, empty buildings of former businesses, an empty Boothill----------however, the jail will still be full!!! |

| Just goes to show there will always be criminals but there won't always be customers............... too bad but it's not like they did a satisfacton survey when the business started slippin. Shoulda asked why folks just didn't want to go there anylonger............. seems to me it was pretty plain as evidenced by past conversations on here. Bad food = bad business. Perhaps this was a planned fail so the finances would work out right for them. Odd that all 3 would go down the drain at the same time - they movin? Goin to Nashville?

| If you want really bad food, then stop at the concession stand in the Civic Center. $4 buys a warm coke and a sad hotdog.

| $4 at Enid or Salina, buys you a chicken or barbeque beef sandwich and a beer!!!! |

| It saddens my poor eyes when I think about our city leader's desire to manage even more entertainment venues when they don't/can't even serve appealing food at a snack shack.

| They did not support local entertainment (except themselves), you reap what you sow.. They wanted an abatement on taxes, but they would not let any local acts into their entertainment venue. Local bands and talented musicians wanted to be a part of that trail days entertainment (around the campfire type cowpuncher songs) and had offered services free of charge just to be a part of it. They would have no part of sharing the stage. And, If they could make it in Nashville, they would have done it long ago when opportunities presented themselves. |

| Zeb - my thoughts exactly!!! The Nashville comment was a snide one!! LOL LOL I always felt they were nice enough but basically just some fairly talented folks livin in a wanna be enviornment. There was just something rather phoney about all thier "kindness". I just never took them for more than a family with some talent and the money to act important. Once you saw thier show - well it just wasn't something you would go to on a monthly basis. I hate to see anyone with financial issues but ya know what? My guess is they didn't loose all thier money and they will move onto another town where they can have the celebrety they seem to seek.
