| As far as classification goes for races, by Kansas reporting standards, you are white, black, Asian, or Indian I believe. Then, under white, ethnicity is listed as Hispanic - the news reports were most likely just going strictly off what the police report said. |

| Sounds like a flaw in the system to me!! It's like Bubba said - there were probably folks lookin for a white girl - with a white guy.........

| People are just so strange! Once again a case that just reinforceces my opinion that there just ain't much that could surprise me on human behavior. I'm sure they will get it all sorted out.

| I dont understand why Erica was or will be charged, but Hector was questioned and released?!? Were they really trying to " take" the child, or did they just make a very bad decision to go to Kansas City for the weekend and were on their way home? The whole situation sounds crazy to me. So sad though that a child had to be involved. |
