The Elite Media has been ruining themselves by programming to the lowest common denominator. CBS has removed Imus and removed a facet of variety from their programming. It's their toy and their money but it's also their viewer's choice to watch whatever or whomever they chose to fill that time slot. A not-too-SHARP(e)-ton / Jackoffson talk show would be a very interesting social experiment.

Imus will return to public view through alternative media. Thank doG for the Internet.

Imus getting the axe didn't surprise me at all. This country is all about double standards.

I remember, not very long ago on another forum, one of the most famous poster here was banned for using the wop word. Not going to mention his name on here as it might bring back some bad memories, But i think they neutured him?

I say you can blame the media for this, they made it into something much more than what it was by continuing to report it. Sharpton and Jackson always ham it up big for the cameras, if the media would have just shut the cameras off, Rev. Al and Rev. Jesse would have walked away and shut up because there would have been nobody to watch them.
