Well there is actually a radio station in California that is going to run the Imus in the morning show. Good for them!

Thier first one will be the contraversial one then they have bout 2 weeks of selected shows. They are hoping by then that Imus will be back in business - my guess is that thier hope is it will be with them. I think there has been enough groveling....... already! Time to make this a positve outcome and lossen the rope from his neck.

I tried to look at this from all sides and came up with my opinion.

If Imus would have just called them ho's, this would have never been discussed. If Chris Rock called them nappy headed ho's, this would never be discussed. Why? Chris Rock is nappy headed is why. You cannot demean something you already are, in his case being black. By him, Imus, calling them that demeaned them as not only women, but because of their race. If the discussion is about his demeaning them as women, then it is a double standard since hip-hop is all about that. My example would be:

My wife calling another woman a b--ch is not the same as me calling one that.
Me calling someone a bald bastard (I am follicolly challenged) is not the same as someone with hair doing it.

What he said was stupid. Should he have been fired for it? Not in my opinion. He should have been fired a long time ago for saying the things he has said. Would I have fired him for that one remark? No.

Have you noticed since people are calling it a double standard, and saying we should also go after the Blacks(cRAP and comedians) doing the same thing, they are now saying Imus apologized and is getting too much air time so we should drop it?

By "they" I mean the ones that were crying the loudest for Imus's head.

What I’m seeing Detector are folks saying Sharpton and Jackson will be viewed as hypocrites if they don’t go after the rap and comedians to clean up their language. That would be fine with me but next week is a new news cycle and it will never be followed up on.

If we had any organization for only whites

to 'advance' OUR lives

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,

a Black Chamber of Commerce,

and then we just have the plain

Chamber of Commerce.

Wonder who pays for that?

If we had a college fund that only gave

white students scholarships

... You know we'd be racists.

There are over 60 openly-proclaimed

Black-only Colleges in the US ,

yet if there were 'White-only Colleges'

... THAT would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March,

you believed that you were

marching for your race and rights.

If we marched for our race and rights,

... You would call us racists.

You are proud to be black,

brown, yellow and orange,

and you're not afraid to announce it.

But when we announce our white pride

... You call us racists.

You rob us,

carjack us,

and shoot at us.

But, when a white police officer

shoots a black gang member

or beats up a black drug-dealer

who is running from the LAW and

posing a threat to ALL of society

... You call him a racist.

I am proud.

... But, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only

whites

can be racists?

It was also pointed out to me that I’m woefully lacking in my knowledge of racism. I’d guess that I’d better be brushing up so I’ll know how to stand up for my new found rights as a minority.
