For those who don't have the sharp eyes of a genuine TexKan and might be interested in What TF's going on; I read the following and thought it was posted by agnostic on this thread. So I pounded the keyboard somewhat. I posted it and then realized lurker was a lost puppy.

That belief in goodwill, compromise, concession and trust grew as a result of being surrounded by decent people in a well-ordered, lawful society, with a long history of compromise and cooperation. That was many yesterdays ago.

I had to take a hardline position against being soft or a laggard. These terrorists want to exert total power over everyone and are willing to kill themselves as their final act of destroying those they deem not to be of their beliefs; much like a predator goes after their laggards.

At death, every-body is equal. That's what the terrorists want.

What goes for other Nations should also go for our Nation's people:
"Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists. From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime." GWB

That explains the apparent gap over there.

My opinion, which like any other only carries as much weight as the calories it took for me to write it down, is this:

Many do not understand what exactly war is. While some will constantly beat the drum of "no coalition" it appears they believe a coalition only counts if France or Germany are involved. Funny how those who chose to ignore terroristic threats are suffering from it's effects. Spain got bombed, France basically burned to the ground, Russia lost a school full of children etc.
We are not at war with Iraq, we are at war IN Iraq. There is a differance. If we were at war with that country this would be over.

Bush has dropped the ball in this regard, he has allowed his advisors to do their job. He has trusted that they knew what they were doing and allowed them to continue doing it. Instead of calling them on the carpet and trying to smooth the problem, he just lets it run its course. That, in my opinion, is and has been the wrong thing to do.

Oh I haven't gone anywhere. Someone's got to try to heard the sheep in the right directiong once in a while.

I don't care who says it but anytime someone is quoted in the media as calling someone a "nefarious bastard" I enjoy it.

True, but you always want to go to the left.

Wordy, werdy, wierdy! Weed the werds you embolded again. This time with comprehension. Carefully notice these two important werds:
Quote:
Wilkerson blamed Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and like-minded aides. Wilkerson said that Cheney must have sincerely believed that Iraq could be a spawning ground for new terror assaults, because "otherwise I have to declare him a moron, an idiot or a nefarious bastard."
"lurker said that wordy must have sincerely believed the mindless drivel he posted here could be un-biased, because otherwise lurker would have to declare him a moron, an idiot or a nefarious bastard."

See how easy it is to imply without declaring....?

lurker trusts your belief in what you posted because you can't see that it's

Yeah I'm ALWAYS going to the left...

Would that be even when I agree with you?

I love that you have me stereyotyped because it leaves you vulnerable.

Awww Lurker. As usual you have nothing real to say so you say it in a condecending manner trying to make yourself seem more important that you really are.

No wonder you and the vegan repelled each other so much.
