| From my heart for the victims It was a very chilly morning That April day When for no reason Someone took the light away We all watched in horror Not a word to say On that chilly morning when Someone took the light away A lone, lost soul Demented and torn Robbed us of our light That chilly April morn The tears rolled down my cheeks Collecting at my feet Crying for the families With every heart beat I could only imagine the fear The shots ringing down the halls The innocents lined up Facing the cold walls Silently I weep In the darkness left behind Our world forever changed Images burned in my mind With the angels you now soar Through our tears we all pray Our world is so much darker Someone took the light away Forever in my heart Flying Dutchman

| That's very heartfelt - Dutchie - I know we BS on here most the time but I think the writing you created is a very nice way to help people heal from the trauma they feel. Whether it be because they identified with the school and students in some way or if they identified just from one grieving human to another. Thanks for posting it and giving us a chance to read it. Very nice.
