I agree there but there are plenty of morons that wouldn't have any problem sucking a child out at 5 months........... sorry I really have a problem with that particular proceedure and I'm glad they baned it. I don't care if you want an abortion - I think if that's what you feel is best that's what you should do and you should have the roadways to do it. I just think this road needs to be closed.

Most partial-birth abortions are performed in the 20-26 week range (the fifth and sixth months), and some are performed even later.

These drawings accurately depict a partial-birth abortion being performed on a baby at 24 weeks gestational age.

Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps.

The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal.

The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head.

The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole...

The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child's brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed.

Why is the baby's brain sucked out? Because, the last thing we want is a live baby coming out of the womb, self-sustaining and crying. And if the baby was delivered and then killed that would be illegal. As long as the baby is killed prior to it's head leaving the womb, it's classified as an abortion. Talk about semantics!! Talk about loopholes!!


Many abortionists that once performed these precedures have stopped long before the ban. They will tell you that inserting the scissors into the babys head and watching the feet and arms wiggle violently as the hole was made, then watching its limbs fall limp as the brains were sucked out opened their eyes to the immorality of it all.

Hideous post Tee!!!................... but I understand your intention. I agree with you. Folks will argue that this is only done when there is severe deformity or issue with the fetus AND the mothers health is at risk.......... but we all know this is used for women who are too damned lazy to actually go to an MD when they know they are preg. When they do show up late in pregnancy then this is the last ditch option for those women that say........ I just don't want this pregnancy......... it is disgusting and revolting. I too think this is a loophole and I'm glad it's closed.
