| Are you sure that wasn't suspected but there wasn't evidence to bring charges? Just a question........... perhaps it didn't really have much to do with history but more with evidence or lack of it???????

I can tell you first hand, if Tahah was ever a suspect in her rape case, the family never knew about it. As far as we know, they have never had any leads or suspects. Course this would explain why/how they handled the case, pointing the finger at the victim throughout the investigation. hmmmm.... will be checking into this.....

I am still praying for her family, meaning the parents and kids. It is such a sad situation for them. And I'm praying for the good cops, because it's a bad deal for them. I can't imagine working with someone and finding out they are accused of this. What if you are working with someone who is capable of this and you don't know it? I'm going to be looking differently at my coworkers today. |

| I agree MissKitty. Our hearts should be going out to the family and fellow officers. Law enforcement is and should be held to a higher standard and thats what makes this situation tough. When out on the street more often than not the only person a LEO can rely on is a fellow officer. Thats a hard relation to break even when one goes out of bounds. I don't think any of the officers should be held accountable for no information be released to the public. It's not their place.

| That's why they call it the thin blue line - there's a small line between sides. Most honor it - but it's so easy to step over the line and once you have you are pretty much done. That's why thier suicide rate is high for cops gone bad. I'm betting on the temporary insanity plea or the cirme of passion plea. Nothing will lessen the pain for the girls family - it's alife cut short by someone who didn't have the right to do it - no matter what the circumstance.
