Isn't there a law in this country that a convicted criminal can't profit from selling his or her story?

A charge of "second degree murder"?? Sauer at it again??
First degree murder is a murder that was deliberate and planned-out (pre-meditated).

Second degree murder would be any other type of murder. Something that just happened quickly without any forethought. Maybe like a crime of passion...

If they couldn't find any evidence of it being planned before it happened they would have to bring charges of second degree murder instead of first degree.

I think that to bring a gun to somebody's house that is planned. It's not like it was a crime of opportunity, the gun just happened to be laying there. Or that they were fighting and something happened. If you brought a gun, that seems that you were planning to do it...in my opinion

Maybe, but you should remember he was a police officer, so he would have that to fall back on as the reason for carrying a gun.

It isnt illegal to carry a firearm in america and as Bubba said he WAS a PD member and they arent the most popular ppl in the world and they have to protect themselves also and not just us so wh ether he had a gun or not as an officer or as a civilian isnt what the point is the point is how he used that gun for the wrong reason and not the right one

And then you dignified it with a response.

NEVER argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
